The I’m Still Here philosophy ensures that every person living with dementia still has an opportunity to learn and have meaningful, purposeful experiences regardless of the stages of cognitive and physical health.
Specially trained staff learn each resident’s life story to develop clubs, classes, and committees that reflect interests and integrate them into the community’s daily activities.
Research shows the I’m Still Here approach decreases anxiety symptoms (42%), depression symptoms (41%), and neuropsychiatric symptoms (32%).
